1. Overview

Trust Badges is a Shopify app that lets merchants display trust badge icons in their online store. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a merchant.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to operate the app:

We do not collect customer names, emails, order data, payment information, or any personal data belonging to your store's shoppers.

3. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate your store with Shopify
To save and restore your badge preset configurations
To apply badge blocks to your store's theme
To manage your subscription plan via Shopify Billing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as the app is installed on your store. When you uninstall the app, we receive a webhook from Shopify and permanently delete your shop's sessions and associated data from our database within 48 hours.

5. Third-Party Services

Shopify — app platform, OAuth authentication, and billing. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
Railway — cloud hosting provider for our app server. See Railway's Privacy Policy.
PostgreSQL (Neon/Railway) — database hosting for storing your preset configurations and session data.

6. Your Rights

Access: You can view all your stored presets inside the app dashboard.
Deletion: Uninstalling the app triggers permanent deletion of all your data from our servers.
Data request: Email us at hello@mondaysys.com to request a copy or deletion of your data at any time.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to perform actions you have authorised by installing the app. We do not log or expose tokens in any external service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL. We encourage you to review it periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
